This tutorial provides the steps to create a customer account page for managing Easy Digital Downloads users in Genesis.
While working on a project I wanted to create a dedicated account Page. I wanted to have a Login form for Non-logged users and once they logged-in the default contents should be shown.
This is simple when you want to use two different pages. 1. for login /log-in/ and 2. for Account /account/ (redirect) after they login using Shortcodes offered by Easy Digital Downloads.
But What if You want the One Page /account/ to have login form for non-logged users but show links and purchase for logged-in members?
How to create this feature?
That's what we are going to learn today.
Prerequisite:
Part 1.
Create page 1. Account and some sub-pages under this like a. My Downloads, b. Purchase history c. Edit Profile and use the appropriate shortcode from Easy Digital Downloads.
Part 2.
You must give a read to WordPress Conditional Tags and return early function to have a better understanding.
